2. Acceptance of terms

By placing an order through partcycle.co.uk, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully. If you do not accept them, do not use the site or place orders.

These Terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

3. The parts we sell

We sell reclaimed and recovered vehicle parts sourced from end-of-life vehicles and lightly-damaged write-offs. All parts are graded honestly:

• Grade A: Excellent condition, minimal wear
• Grade B: Good condition, normal wear consistent with stated mileage
• Grade C: Fair condition, functional with visible wear
• Remanufactured: Stripped, refurbished and tested to OEM specification

Each listing includes photographs, condition notes, and where applicable, donor vehicle mileage and year. Used parts are by nature unique — colour, exact appearance and minor markings may vary from the photographs.

4. Fitment

We provide make and model information based on the donor vehicle and DVLA records. It is your responsibility to confirm the part fits your specific vehicle before fitting, ideally by checking OEM part numbers against your existing part. If you're unsure, contact us before purchasing using the "Ask a question" link on the product page.

5. Placing an order

To place an order you must be 18 or over, registered as a customer, and provide accurate delivery information. Once you place an order:

1. You receive an order confirmation by email (the order is "received")
2. We confirm stock availability and contact you to arrange payment
3. Upon payment, we dispatch the part within 1-3 working days
4. A binding contract of sale is formed when we dispatch the goods

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order before dispatch, including (but not limited to) cases of pricing errors, stock unavailability, suspected fraud, or where we cannot verify the delivery details.

6. Pricing and payment

All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT at the prevailing rate where applicable. Delivery is calculated separately and shown at checkout.

We use third-party payment processors. PartCycle does not see, store or process your card details directly.

If a pricing error is discovered after you've placed the order, we will contact you with the correct price and the option to cancel.

7. Delivery

We deliver to UK mainland addresses by default. Some destinations (Highlands, Islands, Channel Islands, NI) may incur a surcharge or longer transit times — these are shown at checkout.

Estimated delivery times are 2-5 working days from dispatch. Large items (engines, gearboxes, panels) may be sent by pallet courier with longer lead times. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees.

Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Title to the goods remains with us until full payment is received.

8. Returns and refunds

Full details are in our Returns Policy. In summary:

• 14 days to change your mind under Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013
• Free returns if the part doesn't match the description or doesn't fit a vehicle the listing said it would
• 12-month warranty on all parts as standard, unless otherwise stated
• Customer pays return shipping for change-of-mind returns

9. Warranty

Every part is covered by a warranty period stated on its listing — typically 12 months, sometimes 3 months on Grade C parts, and 24 months on selected remanufactured parts. The warranty covers part failure under normal use. It does not cover:

• Wear-and-tear consistent with the part's grade and stated donor mileage
• Damage from incorrect fitting
• Damage from continued use after a fault becomes apparent
• Modification of the part
• Consequential damage to other vehicle components

Warranty claims must be made within the warranty period. Contact us with your order number, photos, and a description of the fault. We will repair, replace or refund at our discretion.

10. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.

Subject to the above, our total liability for any claim arising from a single transaction is limited to the price paid for the goods in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses including (but not limited to) loss of use of vehicle, garage labour costs, recovery costs, or loss of earnings.

11. Consumer rights

If you are a consumer, you have legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 in relation to goods that are faulty or not as described. These rights are not affected by these Terms. The Citizens Advice consumer helpline (0808 223 1133) can provide more information.

12. Force majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control (extreme weather, supplier failures, industrial action, etc.).

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one in force when you placed it. Significant changes will be announced on the site.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts, except that consumers may bring claims in their local courts.
